Post in September:
We and especially Enshi are fine. She has already become a young lady. In August she was hot for the first time. And we have already been on a trip and visited Eyk - a Berner Sennen male, 6 weeks younger than Enshi. She obeys quite well, except when she is hunting mice in the fields.

Enshi's family lives in Arnstadt. Here an extract from a mail:
Every Sunday we go to the dog school. Although she is the smallest one there, she hasn't got any fear. All the other dogs are at least 3 months older than her. Every one adores her self-confidence. Yesterday we went to the market in town and were even photographed and interviewed by the local newspaper.
